Joint State/County Work Program Inmate Escapes from
Pearl River County Jail

Waylon Lee Strickland,
MDOC #69222 escaped today from the Pearl River
County Jail where he was serving as a joint state/county
inmate at approximately 4:30 p.m.
Authorities are
searching for Strickland who is serving a 3-year sentence
from Greene County for Possession of Precursors and
Possession of a Controlled Substance. Strickland has
tattoos on his arms and
back, including
a
Mississippi map
tattoo on his back. Strickland was last seen wearing
MDOC
green
and white striped pants and
a Pearl River County white
pullover shirt.
Strickland may also have a blue
MDOC jacket in his possession.
