TAYLOR, MDOC #109496, who had escaped from the Pearl River County Jail in Poplarville on the afternoon of Friday, July 17th has been captured.   Authorities had been searching for Taylor, a 22-year old black male serving a five-year sentence for a conviction of Vehicle Burglary from Lauderdale County was captured in Meridian, Mississippi at approximately 8:20 p.m. this evening.   Taylor will now be transported to the Central Mississippi Correctional Facility in Pearl, and faces an additional five year sentence if convicted of escape.   ##
