Two Simpson County State Inmates At Large

Jackson - Simpson County Community Work Center inmates WILLIAM KING CAISON, MDOC #122675 and SHAWN PAUL MEEK, MDOC #133009, escaped together today at approximately 4:45 p.m. while working an assigned work detail in Smith County. The two were assigned to work with Smith County Garbage Collection in Raleigh, located in Smith County. The two took the work van which is white in color, with a Smith County logo and government license plate. The two were each last seen wearing MDOC green and white striped pants and a white shirt with MDOC logo on back.

Authorities are searching for CAISON a 32-year old white male with brown eyes, brown hair and weighs 165 pounds. CAISON is serving a 10-year sentence for a conviction of EMBEZZLEMENT from FORREST County. And MEEK a 37-year old white male with blue eyes, brown hair and weighs 240 pounds. MEEK is serving a 6-year sentence for convictions of POSSESSION OF METHAMPHETAMINE from SCOTT County and CREDIT CARD FRAUD from MADISON County.
