I am proud to inform you of a newly provided
service by the MS SAVIN program (Mississippi Statewide Automated
Victim Information and Notification) / VINE (Victim Information
Notification Everyday). Mississippi CHOICE is a web-based victim
notification, registration and information site for crime victims,
witnesses, or those affected by a violent / sex crime resulting in
an offender being sentenced to the Mississippi Department of
Corrections. CHOICE is an enhancement of MS SAVIN / VINE. It will
allow you to receive additional services offered through the MDOC
Division of Victim Services such as allow you to customize your
notifications, upload victim impact statements and view offender
data for the offender you are registered against any time. If you
currently have a SAVIN / VINE account you will need to activate your
account through CHOICE to take advantage of the enhanced benefits.
If you prefer not to activate your account or to opt out, you will
still be able to access your SAVIN / VINE account. Please contact
Gwendolynn at (601) 359-5759 or Nakia at (601) 359-3752 to set up an
account with CHOICE and then visit
www.mssavin.com to access your account. I highly recommend that
you take advantage of this newly provided service.
